Anxiety is loud. Intuition is quiet.

You think intuition is supposed to feel cinematic. Clear. Loud. Certain. But most of the time, anxiety is what’s loud. Anxiety rushes. Spirals. Demands immediate relief. Makes you feel like you have to solve everything right now.

Intuition is usually quieter. Almost annoyingly simple. It doesn’t scream over the noise. It just keeps gently repeating the same truth underneath all of it. “This still isn’t right.” “You already know.” “Slow down.” “Don’t abandon yourself here.” That’s the difference I had to learn.

Not every intense feeling is truth. Sometimes it’s just a nervous system trying to protect you from pain, rejection, uncertainty or loss. Healing wasn’t becoming emotionless. It was learning to observe myself having a feeling instead of immediately becoming the feeling.

And honestly? I am exhausting. Beautiful. Loving. Creative. But constantly trying to optimize healing, grief, relationships, purpose, productivity, sleep, taxes and Instagram captions all at once.

No wonder reassurance helps.
