You made it out of the fog. Keep going.

There was a time I couldn’t see clearly. Everything felt heavy. Confusing. Uncertain. I kept trying to fix what was hurting me instead of admitting it was hurting me. That’s the thing about the fog. You don’t always know you’re in it while you’re in it.

You just know you’re tired. You know you don’t feel like yourself. You know something feels off, even if you keep trying to explain it away.

Coming out of it didn’t happen in one big moment for me. It happened slowly. Quietly. Honestly. A deeper breath. A little more peace. Sleeping better. Laughing without forcing it. Trusting my own thoughts again. Feeling lighter in my body.

While walking through that season, I began writing There Is No Place Like You – The Yellow Brick Illusion, a reminder that sometimes the longest journey is the one back to yourself.

Wanting more for my life. Choosing myself without guilt. Believing peace was possible. Then one day I realized, I was coming back to myself. My spark. My voice. My calm. My joy.

Healing isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s simply noticing you don’t hurt the way you used to. Sometimes it’s realizing peace feels more familiar than chaos. Sometimes it’s remembering who you were before you started shrinking.

If you’re in the fog right now, keep going. Be gentle with yourself. Clarity often arrives slowly.

You are not lost. You are finding your way back.
